With only two weeks until the Iowa caucuses, the race for the Republican Presidential nomination remains very fluid, according to a new CBS News poll.
The top two candidates in the survey, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, each attracting support only 20 percent of the primary voters Republicans nationwide. They are, in a sense, in four ways on top of the poll-though not with their rivals.
Otherwise, the next highest finisher in the survey are the “others,” GOP voters choice of 19 percent. Another 17 percent said they were undecided or did not know who they will support.
Even among those who have made the choice, there are a lot of Producers. Thirty seven per cent of the group said it was too early to fully commit to a candidate, while only 21 percent said they had made up their minds. And only 23 percent said they strongly support their candidate, while 62 percent said they have objections.
