Final Fantasy (ファイナル ファンタジー?) Is a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square). This franchise centers on a series of fantasy and science-a fantasy role-playing console game (RPG), but included a moving image, site, print media, and other goods. This series began in 1987 as an eponymous video game developed to save Square from bankruptcy; game was a success and spawned a sequel. Video game series has since branched out into other genres such as the role of the tactical-action role-play, massively multiplayer online role-playing, and racing.
